
From the time I was a small child, Grandpop and Grandmom Yeakley would pick me up in their old Cadillac and we would sing in that old car all the old hymns and camp meeting songs. As a mother, I did the same with my children and those old songs and Bible stories are as precious to me today as they were years ago. Someday, if we are so blessed to have grandchildren, we will continue to sing and teach them of the love of Jesus.
In 2003, I met a wonderful woman named Charlotte Hilbert. Charlotte's grandfather was a farmer/preacher from the Ozarks.

Our childhood memories are very similar and when Charlotte shared a poem she had written about her grandfather, I knew that I had to write the music - for it so mirrored my own grandfather..
